Amados,

we are called to come, this Sunday morning, to worship our God. We are called to come together, as His people, to encourage one another, and to be a reflection of His love for others. We are called, amados, to come closer to Him who loves us the most, and contemplate His Beauty.

It’s my prayer that these readings may help all of us, as we get ready to worship Him well.

Readings, Sunday February 22, 2015

Series : The Epistle to the Hebrews

From last Sunday : He took suffering and death – results of our sin – and used them for His glory, and our benefit, in the restoration of our hearts.

Sermon : Consider Jesus Christ

The One Point: An incredible invitation, and challenge, to come closer, to get to personally know the Lord Jesus Christ

For us to consider: What good things are getting in the way, between you and Him? What do you think is the result of considering Him?

Words of Welcome

Ps. 27:4; 65:4; 90:17;

Call to Worship

Del Salmo27 :: From Psalm 27

Our God, you have said, “Seek my face”

and today we seek your face in worship.

Nuestro Dios, tú has dicho: “Buscad mi rostro”
y hoy buscamos tu rostro en adoración.

Recibenos en tus brazos, y muestranos

tus caminos, O Jehová

Takes us in, and teach us your way, O LORD.

Amen.

Confesión, Seguridad, Gratitud

Psalm 127:1 :: Salmo 27:1

El Señor es mi luz y mi salvación;
¿a quién temeré?
El Señor es el baluarte de mi vida;
¿quién podrá amedrentarme?

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?

Sermon – Spanish on the screen

Hebrews 3:1,2

Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house.
