Our readings for this Sunday come from Psalm 124. The sermon will touch on the community element of our response to God’s generosity. As you go through your week, meditate in this Psalm, and get your heart ready to worship Him well.

Series : Called to enjoy His Generosity – Thanksgiving

From last Sunday : God is completely other. He is holy. And yet, He regards the lowly (us!).

Sermon : Thanksgiving as a community act.

The One Point : He has restored us to be in community, with Him and with one another. Our response, our thanksgiving, should also have a community element.

Challenge for this week : What are some challenges for a community expression of thanksgiving? How could we address those?

Sermon – Spanish on the screen

Psalm 124:6-8

6Blessed be the Lord,
who has not given us
as prey to their teeth!
7We have escaped like a bird
from the snare of the fowlers;
the snare is broken,
and we have escaped!

8Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
