Genesis 1-3

God’s way to relate to His people is never in dictatorial terms, but it is always for his glory and our benefit as an expression of His generous grace, love, and mercy.

Adam and Eve respond to the Covenant of Works had some consequences. The beauty of Christ also has some consequences. Which one are we being guided and supported by?

Admiration for our God is required by our heart to operate in the way it was created to. When we recognize that there is no one like Him – that He is holy – is when we are prepared to face this life.

Real freedom can only be provided and secured by the beauty of our God – who He is and what He has done. We must respond to this freedom.

Genesis 6-9

The signs and seals of God’s covenants remind us and assure us that He will not give up on His people. His presence will always be with us.

Worship is our response to experiencing peace, and the only source and guaranty of peace is the beauty of our God – who He is and what He has done for His people.
